Dr. Kevin Fu to Speak on Medical Device Cybersecurity at The MedTech Conference 2026

Archimedes Director and a leading expert in medical device cybersecurity, joined industry, regulatory, and academic leaders at The MedTech Conference 2026 in Boston for an important discussion on cybersecurity risks and their impact on the medical technology industry.

As part of the Regulatory, Quality and Good Manufacturing Practice Track, Dr. Fu was a featured panelist in “The Ghost in the Machine – Exploring the Business Impact and Strategic Approaches Addressing Cybersecurity and Technology Risks in MedTech.” He was joined by fellow panelists Scott Colburn of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Chris Reed of Medtronic, who moderated the session. The panel explored how MedTech organizations can navigate increasingly complex cybersecurity and technology risks while developing strategies that strengthen patient safety, inform product portfolio decisions, and turn technology challenges into opportunities for innovation.
